Civ7 Mac and Linux specs

Civ7 dev diary #5: Combat
Firaxis has today released the next dev diary, this time about combat. In this diary they talk about how you can use commanders to move your units, the promotions they get, siege warfare, and how the combat is now more immersive due to the concurrent battle animations on the battle field. The modern age live stream: Ben Franklin, Harriet Tubman, and America!
Today we got the Modern Age live stream, and it revealed quite some interesting details for us. If you want to read the whole thread, please have a look here , and for the most interesting screenshots please have a look at our image gallery here.
The new leader introduced today is Harriet Tubman. She is diplomatic and militaristic with a starting bias for vegetated tiles. She gets espionage boni and more war support. For more details please check the thread here.
We now also got the full details for Benjamin Franklin. He is diplomatic and scientific, gets more production and he likes leaders who have the same government. For more details check here.
We also got the game guide for America. America is expansionist and economic, with a starting bias for rough terrain and rivers. You get boni for improved resources, more production and gold from your unique buildings, and the associated wonder is obviously the statue of liberty. Have a look here for all the details.
New short about diplomacy, and don’t forget the live stream tomorrow, Dec 17
Firaxis has today released another short, this time focusing on the diplomacy. They explain the various options which the new system gives to you, and how you can use them to influence the other civs in the game. Have a watch, and discuss it with us here!

Civilization 3 Hall Of Fame – Update
The Civilization III Hall of Fame has been lively this year. After years with 30 games submitted and 41 games submitted in 2022 and 2023, 104 games have been submitted so far this year, including 10 in the most recent Black Friday update.
Highest Firaxis Score
Congratulations to Spoonwood for the highest Firaxis score of the update with a Standard Sid Histographic game for 35199 points. This is also the highest Firaxis score of the year so far.
Most Active Player
BlackBetsy was the most active player during this update, submitting 5 games.
Sid-Level Games
Only 1 player was brave enough to take on Sid this update. Spoonwood submitted a 2050 AD Standard Sid Histographic game for 35199 points. This is the sixth Sid-level game submitted to the Hall of Fame this year.
First-Place Games
A number of players gained number one positions:
Spoonwood with a 2050 AD Standard Sid Histographic game for 35199 points.
Bartleby with a 810 AD Tiny Regent Cultural 100k game for 5211 points.
Thirteen games have achieved new number one positions this year.
Quartermaster Competition
The Hall of Fame has several competitions, with the Quartermaster being the most prominent among them. To be a Quartermaster, a player must have a game in the Hall of Fame across various map sizes, difficulties, and victory conditions, as well as Histographic game.

Civ7: Was the Age of Discovery Livestream Cause for Optimism, or Skepticism?
We are close to seeing the next live stream for Civ7, and are anticipating it.
